The benefits of flex fuel technology for your customers:
1. Promotes the use of a Domestic renewable fuel (E85) which supports the American farmer, creates jobs in the USA and helps stop the dependency on foreign oil.
2. Cleans up the environment with less harmful emissions from the use of ethanol.
3. Cost of operation or fuel economy.
In a recent test conducted on identical make and model with the exception of one being a factory flex fuel vehicle the cost of operation was 1 cent more for E85 per mile. Preliminary testing with our aftermarket technology indicates less fuel economy loss than the factory flex fuel vehicles. However, additional test data needs to be compiled before a meaningful comparison can be made. With the traditional cost of ethanol averaging 25% to 30% less than gasoline the cost differential is marginal.
